Compensating Devices

Compensating devices - Installations designed to compensate for the capacitive or inductive component of alternating current. Element electrical network. Conventionally, they are divided into devices:

  • to compensate for the reactive power consumed by the loads and in the network elements (transversely included capacitor banks, synchronous compensators, synchronous motors, and the like),
  • for compensation of reactive parameters of lines (longitudinally switchable capacitor banks, transversely turn on reactors, etc.)

Complete condenser installations are made mounted (up to 60 kVAr) and floor execution. The shell of the installation protects the internal components from external factors and is made of sheet metal. The polymer coating provides durability and a high aesthetic level. On request, the installation can be manufactured with IP54 protection. In enclosures of installations with degree of protection IP54, the door is sealed with a rubber cord. The shell provides the input of power cables (tires) from the bottom through the hatch. In installations with a capacity of more than 150 kVAr, voltage can be supplied from the side tires Air vents are provided in the side walls of the casing. The door of the case is locked with a lock. The bolt system provides three-point locking of the door. Between the door, the cabinet and the frame, protective grounding has been made. Installation has a modular design. An input distribution module and capacitor modules are installed on the mounting frame. It provides high maintainability and low recovery time. On the door of the installation there are warning lights for control voltage and power failure, an ammeter, a reactive power regulator and a main circuit switch (for installations up to 60 kVAr). Operational inscriptions to the devices on the drawer door (buttons, keys, signal lamps) are made on plates. The text of the inscription - according to the functional purpose of the manual control devices.
